What Makes In-Person Different

Every 40X0 offering is built on the same methodology — the same periodization, the same tempo, the same science. But in-person coaching is a different experience entirely.

When you're in the gym with me I can see things a video review never captures. The subtle hip shift on your squat. The shoulder that's compensating on your press. The rep that looked fine on camera but felt wrong in real time. These are the details that separate good results from great ones — and they're only catchable in person.

Every session is hands-on. I'm not watching from across the room — I'm right there with you, coaching every set, cueing every rep, and adjusting the program in real time based on how you're moving and responding that day. If something isn't working we fix it immediately. If you're ready for more we push further.

This is also where the Move Better philosophy comes to life most fully. Mobility work, movement screening, corrective exercise — these aren't afterthoughts in my sessions. They're built into the foundation because a client who moves well lifts more, recovers faster, and stays injury free longer. Every session begins with intention and ends with purpose.

In-person training isn't just the most personalized option I offer. It's the most complete.

In-person training at 40X0 is subscription based — designed to give you consistent access, built-in accountability, and everything you need to train at the highest level. Choose the frequency that fits your schedule and goals:

  • One session per week — ideal for those supplementing with independent training or working around a busy schedule.

  • Two sessions per week — the sweet spot for most clients. Enough frequency to drive consistent progress while allowing adequate recovery between sessions. Includes 1 monthly add-on of your choice.

  • Three sessions per week — for those who want maximum coaching contact and the fastest path to their goals. Includes 2 monthly add-ons of your choice.

Every subscription includes:

The 40X0 Methodology — In Practice

Understanding tempo on paper is one thing. Executing it under load, with a coach watching every phase of every rep, is another.

In our sessions the 40X0 tempo isn't just prescribed — it's coached. I'm counting your eccentric, watching your positioning, cueing your concentric intent, and making sure every rep produces the adaptation it's designed to. Over time this builds a level of body awareness and movement quality that carries into every program that follows.

Combined with structured periodization — cycling between muscle building and strength phases — this is programming that compounds. Every phase builds on the last. Every session has a purpose. Nothing is random.
